Your First Visit

At Krause Dental Care, we appreciate the trust you have placed in us by choosing us as your dental practice, and we strive to make our office convenient and accessible to you and your family. We want your first appointment with us to reaffirm the confidence that you've made a good choice to come see our team. We know that dental visits can cause anxiety for some patients, so we try our best to make each and every person feel comfortable and satisfied.

Before your first appointment, please note the following:

  • Bring a list of any medications you are taking, as well as the names of your physicians and their phone numbers
  • Try to arrive early to complete medical and patient information forms (if preferred, we are happy to mail the forms to your home prior to your visit)
  • If you have had x-rays taken recently or feel they would be helpful in your case, bring them along
  • Bring your dental and medical insurance forms or cards
  • If you normally take an antibiotic prior to your professional cleanings, please do so prior to an appointment at our office

Once again, we would like to welcome you to our office and we look forward to seeing you for your first visit!

Office Policies

We have all of our patients seen on an appointment basis. While we respect your time, occasionally we are behind schedule and will advise you appropriately. We will make every effort to keep your wait as short as possible. Please remember to allow for unpredictable traffic and give yourself a few minutes to spare. Patients who are running late please call us.

We understand that on occasion cancellations are necessary, particularly due to illness. Please remember though that each appointment time is exclusively for you and without adequate notice to fill the broken appointment, another patient may be denied timely dental care. We request that two full business days notice is given for changes in appointments. Please try to keep these appointments and work your schedule around them.

We incorporate some time in our daily schedule for patients with urgent needs. Please call us as early as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you on a same-day basis.

Financial Options

Payments are due at the time of service. For your convenience, we are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express and will file all insurance claims on your behalf. Alternate payment methods such as interest free financing (ex. Care Credit) are available upon request.

Before your first visit, please take time to educate yourself about your specific dental plan and bring it with you so we can help clarify any questions or concerns. Please realize that we do not work for any insurance carriers-- we work for you. Dr. Krause’s recommendations will be based on what he feels will provide you the best outcome regardless of your coverage.

We will make an effort to help our patients receive the maximum benefits from their insurance plans.

Remember, each patient is responsible for their own bill and prompt payment is expected.

Payment Plans

At the patient's request, our front office is happy to work out a payment plan that accommodates specific financial situations.
